Following a very short illness Mum was admitted to hospital on the 7th Jan 2013. With the loving and timely care of the hospital staff at West Suffolk hospital Mum initially rallied enough to spend time with Sam and Nik, Lyndi, the boys and myself before starting a long long sleep. On the 14th Jan 2013 Mum finally passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Ruthie beside her, as she has been so often, especially in recent years.
