Again another really important part of Mum & Dad's life which I know little about. I believe the sadly passed and famous minister, John Stott, ministered here in the 60's and I think I am right in recalling that this is where Dad came to the Lord. Certainly Mum always spoke very fondly of John Stott. I found an invite for Dad to Hilary and Derek Wilkes wedding August 15th 1964. Was this before Mum & Dad met? Where the Wilke's friends of Mum & Dad's? In a bizarre twist of fate it appears the prayers at John's funeral were led by Rico Tice. Rico was a curate at St Paul's, Clifton in Bristol when I was a student and led the "alpha" course I attended as a student. At this time I was trying to decide whether to join the ministry or to persue my career as a veterinary surgeon.
